Dissolution Accessories (DA) offers a wide variety of sampling cannulas and sampling probes.
Cannula's can be used with stoppers during manual sampling to ensure that the sample is always taken from the same (reproducible) depth.
The sampling position is important particularly for tests with baskets as there can be a concentration profile between the bottom of the vessel and the stirring element.
The cannula length may vary in length:
120mm (4.75") is used for sampling on a height of 900ml
195mm (7,75") is used for sampling on a height of 500ml
Extended length is normally used for "through the head sampling" whereby the cannula passes through the drive dead of the dissolution tester.
DA cannula's are made from stainless steel or PEEK, so that they do not absorb or interfere with the active ingredient.
Do not hesitate to contact us by mail: info@prosense.net or phone +31 (0)162 47 14 85, when you are not sure which cannula or which stopper you can use for your dissolution tester.
